The driving force behind Career and Technical Education at Stone High School is to provide our students with the skills to obtain high-wage, high-demand, and high-skill careers. It is imperative to empower all students to be successful citizens, workers, and leaders in a global economy. "The career education movement is alive and well today, because more jobs are going unfilled that require technical training." According to the U.S. Department of Labor report, 65 percent of our students will eventually be employed in jobs that have not been created.

Likewise, we want to provide All students the opportunity to explore options that fit their passion, their interests and educational aspirations.

Here at Stone High School and the Stone County School District, we strive to offer academic course content that combines academic rigor with real-world relevancy.
